What's new in Subshack

Every release of the extension, newest first. Follow it with the RSS feed.

1.37.1 · October 25, 2026

Lead reply actions refer to the creator's publication; no automatic Subshack audit promotion for unrelated topics.
Report Substack group access policies so paid-only communities stay outside public rankings.
Fix sidebar workspace CTAs, open the exact recommended Note, align Today attribution with Results, and make app status, notification, conversation, and automation controls consistent.
Preserve longer Lead Miner message/parent context and distinguish invited sharing from spam; profile comparison no longer asks for absent intent signals. Client delivery remains server-gated.
Do not infer a reader's interest from a bare greeting or reaction, even in a relevant parent thread.

Lead spotting: in group chat threads, replies laid out outside the usual message row are read too — about a third of a thread's messages were skipped before.
Substack page changes (where the page data lives, renamed buttons) can now be fixed from our server within a day, without a new extension version.

Profile audit: a complete profile now gets a 3-step growth path (Notes that bring subscribers, welcome messages, readers to find), checked from your real setup, with the next step in Today.
Automatic messages: if the AI declines to write a message, nothing is sent — the message is held with a clear reason instead of going out with the AI's refusal as its text.
Follow-ups: promises from all your direct messages — yours and theirs — now show up, including the ones you wrote in your last message. AI sorting of all conversations is on by default (turn it off in Messages) and runs every two hours in the background, not only while Messages is open.
Welcome: choose between writing the message yourself or letting the AI write the whole message for each person. The preview now shows the message for the next person who will get it, with a link to their profile.

Add automatic privacy-safe daily contributions to the public Substack groups activity leaderboard.

Lead toast: « Jump to message » opens the thread in the same tab (no new tab), without reloading on substack.com, and still lands on the message.
Side panel with four tabs (Today, Results, Automate, Context); new leads stack as toasts next to the Subshack pill, fan out on hover, and follow the pill.
